PlaceStation is a precision desktop SMT pick-and-place machine, designed and built in Kalyan, Maharashtra. It brings fine-pitch PCB assembly in-house — placing components down to 0402 with dual-camera vision, running the open-source OpenPnP platform — without the cost or lead time of outsourced assembly.

The PlaceStation uses dual HD cameras with custom optics, providing high resolution and a wide field of view. This ensures precise calibration for both small and large components.
Integrated high resolution pressure sensors keep track of pneumatic line vacuum levels, allowing the PlaceStation to immediately detect a mispick and take corrective action. Redundant part detection systems ensure that your components are picked and mounted correctly.
Fully outfitted with linear rails on every axis, high current stepper drivers, and integrated current monitoring, the PlaceStation is capable of high speed population, keeping your R&D program moving as fast as you do.
The PlaceStation has a robust and stable feeder system, capable of consistent and repeatable delivery of components with high accuracy. Once loaded with parts, they will feed for thousands of parts uninterrupted.
The Staging Plate system facilitates the PlaceStation to be configured for incredibly large PCBs, allowing for large panels maximizing throughput, or unique applications that require large geometry.
